At The Terraces at Seacrest Village in Little Egg Harbor, fostering creativity and connection is a cornerstone of the community experience. James “Jim” Gannon, a new resident and retired commercial artist, has embraced this spirit by sharing his lifelong passion for painting with fellow residents. Shortly after moving in, Jim was invited by Life Enrichment Director Bianca Sutlovich to join the community’s art programs. He quickly became a leader, hosting activities like Sip and Paint, where he inspires others to explore their artistic talents.
Jim’s remarkable career began in New York City during the 1960s advertising boom, where he co-founded a successful agency and worked with top-tier clients. Even after retiring, Jim continued to share his art, completing local church commissions and exhibiting in shows. Now, at The Terraces, Jim finds joy in connecting with others, sharing his expertise, and fostering creativity among residents. His story reflects the vibrant, engaging lifestyle that makes The Terraces a special place to call home.
