Listen to some of our many testimonials and reviews:

“I have been living at The Terraces for almost 2 months now.  I knew I wanted to move into a community but chose The Terraces because it was close to where I had lived and my church.  I, of course, was apprehensive but as soon as I arrived the feeling passed.  I was so impressed on how smoothly the process was.  I am no longer lonely.  I enjoy eating with my friends, attending various activities, reading in the library and watching movies in the theater.  By the time the evening comes I am ready for bed because my days are so busy.  I have made many friends here.  Everyone is always so positive.  The staff is absolutely the best!  My aid Marie is a very special person.  My favorite memory has been the day I moved in.  It was a relief to me.  My advice to someone considering moving here is you won’t be making a mistake.”

– Betty Piccinini

“I lived in my home for over 50 years.  But over the past few years keeping up with a home living alone was becoming too much for me. I decided it best that I move into a worry free environment. I have been living at The Terraces for 9 months now.  Initially, it was an adjustment but I soon realized that the burdens I once felt were no longer weighing on me.  It helped also that everyone was so friendly.  I was happy to realize that I was able to continue the daily routine I enjoyed at home.  I enjoy time alone in the morning and in the afternoon I like to socialize, attending different activities.  I find all of the staff caring.  It’s reassuring to know they are there if I need them.  I would recommend moving into The Terraces if you want to be able to enjoy your day to day life without worries any more. “

– J, Umbro

“I moved here after my husband passed away. My family did not want me to live alone. I moved to The Terraces in January of this year. The first two months were a blur to her because I was adjusting to life without my husband. But I was happily surprised that I was welcomed with open arms by everyone, I couldn’t believe there was a place like this. I enjoy socializing, reading, and exercising. All of which I do on a daily basis. If there is a movie of interest playing in the movie theater I will watch it as well. I find The Terraces to be a friendly community which is what I like best. The staff is outstanding. If someone asked my opinion about moving here, I would tell them don’t hesitate!”

Joanne Redington

“It’s great for me to be here! I’ve known the management team; Kelly, Wendy, and Hope almost since the start of my volunteer career at Seacrest Village in 1985 which makes me so comfortable. I’m very happy here and I love my apartment, I think it’s the best one in the house!” Janice Bennet (Janice is The Terraces at Seacrest Village Resident Council President. She has been a resident of The Terraces since 2020 and has been an area resident since 1985.)”

– Christine

“I moved into The Terraces at Seacrest Village 3 months ago. I was lonely at home and finding my day-to-day routine was becoming harder to manage. At first I was reluctant to make the move. I have poor vision so therefore new environments can be overwhelming for me. I quickly realized that wouldn’t be a problem. My days are spent out and about. I attend programs and socialize with everyone. I enjoy the discussion groups the most. I have made so many new friends. I was welcomed by other residents immediately. I feel a strong sense of community because it is a supportive and friendly place. The staff is all always so helpful. My advice to others considering assisted living…. don’t wait!”

Ronald Abramowitz

“At first, I felt frightened because I didn’t know what to expect. But I quickly made friends and became at ease. I was surprised how active I could be here. I enjoy discussion groups, watching movies, and exercising. I also enjoy my quiet time reading. I now know most everyone and feel like this is where I needed to be. I am very independent but I know the staff is always willing to help me if I need it. My favorite memory happens each week in the movie theater – watching classic black and white films. It reminds me of my youth. Everything you need and want is at your fingertips.”
